This month, I’m giving my local library quite the workout. I’ve spent way more time reading books on my Kindle than I would like… I wanted to have physical books in my hands to read this winter, and my library was happy to oblige! Support your local libraries, folks!
Here’s what’s on my nightstand this month:
Longbourn by Jo Baker: I’m super into Jane Austen spin-offs and adaptations and this one sounded really interesting. Pride and Prejudice from the view of “the help”? How awesome does that sound?
Love and Other Perishable Items : This sounded like a cute YA novel, and in the depths of this cold Ohio winter, I needed a warm, fuzzy, fun novel.
The One & Only: This is actually a re-read, but after seeing Draft Day and my husband re-watching Friday Night Lights, I needed a football book. I can’t believe I just wrote that. Plus, I’m a huge fan of most of Emily Giffin’s books. North of Beautiful; What I Thought Was True; and The Book of Broken Hearts were all recommended to me, so of course I picked them up!
The Rosie Project sounded intriguing, and I needed something that wasn’t YA for a little bit of a change.
What are you reading this month?
